Beach City Con Kickstarter Exceeds Goal in Less Than An Hour!
The Steven Universe-centric Beach City Con launched its Kickstarter today and in just a ONE HOUR it was able to exceed its goal!
Saga Event Planning launched the Beach City Con Kickstarter to collect $7,000 in order to fund the convention, and that goal was met in less than an hour! The enthusiasm of the backers goes to show how much everyone is looking forward to the convention that shares their love for Steven Universe. The Crystal Gem tier rewards have already sold out!
While the initial goal has been met, you can still donate and receive some awesome perks. You can get an early ticket buying window if you donate at the Quartz and Corundum tiers. It is one of the best ways you can increase the likelihood of getting a ticket before they are made available to the public. Weekend passes to the con are available from the Peridotite tier onwards.
Extra funds will also increase the likelihood of getting special guests to attend the convention. So donate if you’re able to, and spread the word.
The Beach City Con Kickstarter will end next month so there’s still a lot of time for fans to help support Beach City Con and make it even more spectacular.
Beach City Con will be held from the 13th to 17th October, 2017 at the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel and Conference Center. It will include sing-a-longs, an artist’s alley, discussion panels, cosplay competitions, and more. It will be suitable for kids as well as for the adult fans of the Cartoon Network show.
In time, Saga Event Planning aims to hold the convention in different areas so everyone can attend and make Beach City Con weird!
