“Marvel’s Runaways” And “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger” Crossover Happening This December
I know certain fans were hoping for a crossover between Marvel’s Runaways and Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger. Well, their wish has been granted. The crossover will occur during Marvel’s Runaways season three come December!
The announcement came from Marvel Television and Hulu. The crossover episode will be made available in December of this year.
“It’s so fun being able to do something that revels in the Mighty Marvel Manner! Having these young heroes crossover allows fans of both shows to see the adventure everyone has been waiting for and we’ve only hinted at,” said Jeph Loeb, Executive Producer and Head of Marvel Television.
The third season of Marvel’s Runaways will debut on December 13, 2019, with a total of 10 episodes.
In the third season, the Runaways frantically search for their captured friends Chase Stein, Gert Yorkes, and Karolina Dean. The kids go head to head with an unstoppable enemy who has targeted Leslie — or more accurately, the child she’s carrying. Nico Minoru draws them all into a dark realm where its ruler Morgan le Fay, played by Elizabeth Hurley, is much more nefarious than anyone the kids have yet to face.
The season two finale of the Freeform original series Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger aired earlier this year with Tyrone Johnson (Cloak) and Tandy Bowen (Dagger) on a bus leaving New Orleans in hopes of helping out other parts of the country.
Details about how these two meet the Runaways haven’t been shared yet.
Both seasons of Marvel’s Runaways are currently available on Hulu. The second season of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger is available for streaming on Freeform, Hulu, and On Demand.
I couldn’t get into both these shows. However, I’m excited about the crossover episode and will likely watch it.
I’m so here for Marvel properties doing more stuff similar to the Arrowverse.
