Cosmic Horror Anthology “Cthulhu Is Hard to Spell” Volume 1 Paperback Gets March Release!
Fans of cosmic horror can look forward to enjoying the paperback version of the Cthulhu is Hard to Spell Volume 1 anthology come March 2025. The upcoming release includes 20 stories meant for fans of all ages.
Described to be “steeped in the mythology and gods of Lovecraft”, the Cthulhu is Hard to Spell Volume 1 anthology is being promoted as an easy-access entry point for new readers interested in learning more about Lovecraftian lore. Not only that, but this particular collection of stories is sure to engage well-versed fans as well.
Published by Laguna Studios, the upcoming book covers tales from a diverse group of creators and embraces science fiction, history, humor, and ancient myths to present a variety of interesting stories to readers. The tales include “Nora” by Angela Oddling which is about a dejected teenager living in an ice village who sets out to find Aphoom-Zhah and thaw his cold heart.
“The Dunwich Boys” by Eddy Hedington, Esther Pimental & Nikki Powers is about the Dunwich boys having to banish Yog-Sothoth who has materialized in a house in Dunwich. “Cat is Cryptic” by Megan Hutchinson is a retelling of the Cats of Ulthar.
Other creatives include Clay Adams, Heather Kenealy, Kelly Dochy, Sarah Anderson, Terrance Grace, Wesley Wong, Wesley Sun, and many more.
Meant for ages 3 and up, the paperback version will have 101 pages. It will be distributed by Diamond Book Distributors.
