It hasn’t even been a month since we got a new DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition and BioWare has already announced the third and final DLC for the series, titled Trespasser. Let’s check it out!

I enjoy DLCs for video games I am a fan of, provided they actually add something unique to the story rather than take cash from fans for the sake of it. I spent hours playing Dragon Age: Inquisition but didn’t play the first DLC Jaws of Hakkon because it didn’t bring anything new to the table for me. However, I did play the second DLC The Descent as it brought a new area, The Deep Roads, for my team to travel to as well as familiar enemies from the previous installments in the series.

The announcement for the third and final DLC, titled Trespasser, was made by BioWare during PAX Prime and also on the game’s official website. I like the idea of the developers bringing fans an epilogue to Inquisition, set two years after the main game. The concept behind this final DLC actually makes me feel that the decisions I made during the main gameplay will now matter, especially regarding the future of the team of heroes I created. It will be fun to see what heroes do once the world doesn’t need saving anymore.

According to IGN, players will get to learn new information about the Inquisitor’s mark and the Qunari will also pose a threat. The Qunari threat will feel like a similar storyline for those who have played Dragon Age 2. Also it will be interesting to see where Iron Bull stands during the event, considering he is a staple in your team and/or a romantic interest.

Keep in mind that you will need to finish DA: Inquisition before you can play Trespasser. The final DLC will launch on 8th of September so you better finish the main game if you haven’t already and want to play the new content as soon as it’s released.

Also a wardrobe has been added to Skyhold. The wardrobe can be found in the bedroom after you have patched the game. Both the Golden Nug and wardrobe patches are free.

I am looking forward to Trespasser as it will be the first DLC in the Dragon Age franchise serving as an epilogue to the current main game. Hopefully, it will have some hints regarding the future of the franchise.
