The official teaser trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate has been released. While I’m not the biggest fan of the Terminator franchise, I’m so here for the return of Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor.

Terminator: Dark Fate will serve as the latest installment in the popular film franchise that debuted back in 1984. It reunites Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and James Cameron. They were the team who made the first two films incredibly popular. Terminator 2: Judgment Day is everything!

Even though Cameron hasn’t directed it, I can’t wait to see what the trio offers with Dark Fate.

Here’s the official trailer!

It is interesting to note that Terminator: Dark Fate will be a direct sequel to Terminator 2. It will be doing away with the events that transpired in Rise of the Machines, Salvation, and Genisys.

You know what? I’m okay with that. Everything after T2 felt like a quick cash grab to me.

Halloween brought back Jamie Lee Curtis and ignored the numerous sequels. The classic slasher film went back to its roots and was a tremendous success at the box office. Fingers crossed, Dark Fate does well, too.

As for the newcomers, we have Natalia Reyes as Dani. Mackenzie Davis will be playing Grace, a human-machine hybrid tasked with protecting Dani. Gabriel Luna has been cast as the villainous Terminator.

I did a reaction and breakdown of the teaser trailer!

I do think many people around the globe want this franchise to continue. They, including myself, are just waiting for an exciting new film.

Judging from the teaser trailer, I think the VFX needs to be polished a bit. Also, some of the scenes are too dark for me to see properly.

Terminator: Dark Fate will be released in U.S. theaters on November 1, 2019.

Are you glad to see Hamilton back as Sarah Connor? Feel free to share your thoughts with us.
