Playmates Toys continues to make the Voltron fandom a happy place with exciting collectible figures. Beginning January 2018, fans can get their hands on the new Voltron Classic ’84 Legendary Lion Collection that’s all about looking cool while hitting you with nostalgia.

I’m a huge fan of Playmates Toys‘ Voltron figure collection lines. I’ve even reviewed some of them. So, of course, I’m looking forward to the new Voltron Classic ’84 Legendary Lion Collection from the company.

Here’s the official description:

Now you can take control of all five Lions from the classic television series. This line features all new technology, which means that all five of the Classic Legendary Lions combine to create the most advanced Voltron ever!

  • Unlock over 60 sounds by combining all 5 Classic Legendary Lions to form a 16″ Classic Voltron. Features phrases and sound effects from the show!

The Blue, Green, Red and Yellow lions from the new Voltron Classic ’84 Legendary Lion Collection will be available for $17.99 MRSP each. The Black Classic Legendary Lion will be available for $29.99 MSRP. The entire line can be bought from major retailers beginning January 2018.
