Watch the Trailer for “Project Hail Mary” Starring Ryan Gosling

Based on the New York Times best-selling novel by Andy Weir (The Martian), Ryan Gosling (Barbie, The Notebook, La La Land) stars in Project Hail Mary.

Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (21 Jump Street), the film hosts a star-studded cast including Sandra Hüller, Lionel Boyce, Ken Leung, and Milana Vayntrub. The premise covers a multi-year space opera about the spirit of resiliency, the potential of knowledge, and connections that come from across the stars.

“Science teacher Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) wakes up on a spaceship light years from home with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. As his memory returns, he begins to uncover his mission: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out. He must call on his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from extinction… but an unexpected friendship means he may not have to do it alone.” 

The movie arrives in theaters and IMAX on March 20, 2026.
