Win a Buddy Pack of Gishwhes Invites from The Geekiary!

Gishwhes 2017

Have you heard of the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen? Do you like doing good deeds while wearing improbable amounts of produce? Well, get ready to get kind because The Geekiary is giving away a pair of invites for this year’s Gishwhes!

This year’s hunt takes place from August 5-August 12. You can compete from anywhere in the world as long as you have access to something that takes pictures and something that can upload those pictures onto the internet. For more information, check out our article or the official Gishwhes website.

Team KaleoftheLord got this child’s letter into space for the 2016 hunt!

Our giveaway runs until the 30th of April, and there are ways for you to enter every day. The Geekiary Gishwhes Buddy Pack includes two paid invites, so you can join with a friend. Once you’re registered we’ll help you find a team through The Gishwhes Network, the largest unofficial Gishwhes fan group on Facebook. (You’re welcome to be randomly sorted into a team, too, but we’ve found that it’s more fun to make friends with your team in advance.)

Winners must be willing to share their email and their friend’s email for registration. We won’t keep it or use it for any other purposes. To enter, you and your friend must be eligible for Gishwhes according to Commandment 2:

Have you ever seen a guy from a legit biker gang wearing a fruit leather jacket? Now you have!

Eligibility. The Scavenger Hunt is open to global Entrants 14 years of age and older. Eligible minor Entrants must provide gishwhes with parental or legal guardian (“Guardian”) consent prior to participating in the Scavenger Hunt, and the minor and Guardian must agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Entrants are eligible for the Grand Prize (defined below) under the following conditions:

a. Each Entrant must personally and actively participate in the Scavenger Hunt.

b. Ages 18 and over. If Entrant will be at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the age of majority in his or her jurisdiction of residence, if older) as of July 30th of the applicable Scavenger Hunt year, they may participate in the Grand Prize unattended by a Guardian.

c. Ages 17 and under. Any Entrant who wins the Grand Prize who is less than eighteen (18) years of age (or less than the age of majority in his or her jurisdiction of residence, if older) on August 5th of the applicable Scavenger Hunt year (“Minor Winner”) may only participate in the Grand Prize accompanied by a Guardian. If the Guardian is NOT registered on the Minor Winner’s team, Guardian will be responsible for paying 100% of Guardian’s costs incurred in participating in the Grand Prize.

This prize is being offered in partnership with a couple many-times runner-up teams, Team KaleoftheLord and Team Subtext. (Yes, these are Admin Angel and Editor Khai’s teams.)

Questions? Concerns? Ask ’em in the comment section below! Otherwise, you can enter through the Rafflecopter link at the bottom of this post. Good luck!

7/17 Update: If you don’t win this contest, you can always register yourself over at the Gishwhes website. Low on cash? There are a number of gisholarships offered by other gishers, and the Gish gnomes match that number, so some will be granted both before and after registration closes.

Gishwhes benefits the charity Random Acts, but while there is some overlap in leadership they are two separate groups.

  1. I think this is great. I have already registered, and so has my child, but I would be happy to pass these on to people who are in need.

    1. Completely allowed! We would need the e-mail addresses of the people who will be playing, since Gishwhes does paid invites that way, but other than that if you win you can do with these tickets whatever you like. <3

      1. Thanks. Also trying to promote this. I only saw it because I get Google alerts for gishwhes.
