Dragon Con 2016 Cosplay Highlights
As always, Dragon Con 2016 cosplay was top notch, and yet this is probably one of the most difficult Dragon Con posts I’ve ever written…because doing so means that Dragon Con 2016 is days in the past and Dragon Con 2017 is hundreds of days in the future.
But hey, at least we can look back at some awesome Dragon Con 2016 cosplay and reminisce, right? (Please excuse the quality of some of these pictures – many were taken with my phone on the spur of the moment, as is often the case.)
There was a LOT of Pokemon/Pokemon Go (no surprises there)…
And of course there were more than a few mashups…including R2D2 wearing some Marriott Carpet rags, Disney Princess Kylo Ren & Leia, and Lolita Captain America insisting that we “Vote for Thor” because Loki was dating Taylor Swift (which has since apparently ended…we blame the cosplay shirt because this was on Saturday)…
And there were plenty of other amazing cosplays, more than I can possibly include in this post!
Villainous…Cersei Lannister and Grand Admiral Thrawn
Undyne and Mettaton from Undertale
I was very taken by this AMAZING Tormund Giantsbane…
Nelson & Murdock, Avocados at Law
Party Hufflepuffs with Newt Scamander & Friend from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
As you probably know, this is just a sampling of the amazing cosplays I saw last weekend. While it seemed like a lot of cosplayers were doing more simple and fun outfits for Dragon Con 2016, I don’t think it detracted from the overall experience at all.
Did you see anything really awesome at Dragon Con that you just can’t forget? Let us know in the comments!
