Marvel Announces Plans for New York Comic Con 2024
Didn’t I tell you we would start seeing New York Comic Con announcements, now that we’re about a month out? Today the first big announcement is from Marvel, who not only revealed their panel plans, but also confirmed that they will have a presence on the show floor! (They weren’t initially on the Exhibitor List, and people were worried they may not have a booth.)
But New York is the home of Marvel, and they will be fielding a booth on the exhibitor floor when NYCC returns October 17-20. The booth (#2153) will highlight some of the Marvel superheroes who are NYC-based. Featured at the booth will be costumes from the upcoming Marvel Television series Daredevil: Born Again, as well as a photo op for the upcoming Marvel Animation series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
Additionally, visitors to the booth will be able to check out a hands-on demo of the Marvel Contest of Champions mobile game ahead of its 10th anniversary. Fans will also be able to get their very own first look at the upcoming collaboration between Marvel and Magic: The Gathering. There will also be a Magic: The Gathering panel on Friday October 18 that will include some surprise reveals!
The booth will also host a slew of giveaways, cosplay meetups, and signings. The full booth schedule will be revealed closer to the event, so keep an eye on Marvel.com for details.
Marvel will also be returning with a variety of panels, including perennial mainstays “Next Big Thing”, “Marvel Fanfare”, and my personal favorite, “Women of Marvel”. The full schedule is below.
