Four Webcomics That Show The Joys and Hijinks Of Having a Cat – Recommendation

Cat-themed stories and serials have always been popular in webcomic spaces, ranging from exploring the workings of the feline mind to cats plotting revenge against their humans. The four webcomics from WebToon Canvas featured in this list showcase how wonderful and spontaneous cats can be.
When I posted my first cat-themed webcomic recommendations (and the follow-up), I’d yet to adopt a cat. In May 2024, I finally did — a Scandinavian-Siberian Russian Blue named LeVar. And my partner and I are lucky to have him. Like the webcomics listed below, he’s as curious, spontaneous, and mischievous as a cat can be.
So without further ado, here are the four cat webcomics that I recommend (and that my cat approves).

The Adventures of Meow by Nishiki (KADOKAWA GEMPAKSTARZ) (Not Rated)
A cat named Meow gets rescued and adopted by a boy named Pop. From there, Meow makes new friends while appreciating its human owner.
Reading this webcomic is like welcoming an old friend into your home and sharing chamomile tea throughout the evening. The Adventures of Meow provides the comfort needed regardless of whether you own a cat (or any pet).

House Frightdorable by Rowyn Golde (Rated Teen)
It makes me happy to see black cats getting the love they deserve here. House Frightdorable embraces the fun and dynamic personality of cats. Join this adorable cat and her friend, Cabbage the dog, as she explores every nook and cranny of her home and the importance of self-care.

Boo & Baai by Blackkittypet (Rated Teen)
Hooray for more black cat appreciation!
Imagine a house cat with an evil twin or alter ego. Boo has one named Baai. Who else to blame for burning down the house while the humans were away?
While a brand new webcomic, the first two episodes promise hilarious moments as Boo and Baai handle situations that challenge their perspective on life.

Sollan by Warmteacup (Rated Teen)
Plant destruction, love bites, and revenge. These are only a few things that come with the package of the cat called Sollan. In her world, she is the Queen, and her humans are her peasants. Forced to be on a diet? Nope. New scratching post? Forget about it. New toys? The Queen prefers plastic straws and yarn.
Sollan truly reflects the antics of cats. Cat owners will definitely connect with most (if not all) of the experiences represented in this webcomic, such as the case of the zoomies or meowing for food despite an already filled bowl.
