“Batman: The Long Halloween – Deluxe Edition” Gets September Release!

Fans of the Caped Crusader can look forward to owning the Batman: The Long Halloween – Deluxe Edition on September 20, 2022. The upcoming home release will include additional mature content.

Courtesy of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, Batman: The Long Halloween – Deluxe Edition will bring the two-part animated version of the iconic comic book story to 4K for the first time. The R-rated offering will be available as a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack for USD $34.99 SRP. It can also be bought on Blu-ray+Digital for USD $24.99 SRP, on Blu-ray (only available in Canada for $29.99 SRP), and on Digital.

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, DC and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, and inspired by the iconic mid-1990s DC story from Jeph Loeb and the late Tim Sale, the premise of Batman: The Long Halloween – Deluxe Edition deals with the Dark Knight trying to get to the bottom of the mysterious serial killings occurring on holidays in Gotham City.

Jensen Ackles voices Batman/Bruce Wayne. The also includes the late Naya Rivera voicing Catwoman/Selina Kyle, Josh Duhamel as Harvey Dent/Two-Face, Billy Burke as Commissioner James Gordon, Katee Sackhoff as Poison Ivy, Titus Welliver as Carmine Falcone, Julie Nathanson as Gilda Dent, David Dastmalchian voices both Calendar Man and the Penguin, and Troy Baker as The Joker.

The film was directed by Chris Palmer from a screenplay by Tim Sheridan. The Producers are Jim Krieg and Kimberly S. Moreau. Butch Lukic is a Supervising Producer. The Executive Producer is Michael Uslan. Sam Register is also an Executive Producer.

As for the extra content, the Batman: The Long Halloween – Deluxe Edition will include (on 4K, Blu-ray and Digital) the “Evolution of Evil (New Featurette)”. It will give fans a comprehensive look at The Long Halloween with original writer, Jeph Loeb, and filmmakers.

The language options on 4K/Blu-ray are English, Spanish, and French. The running time comes in at approximately 2 hours and 48 minutes. The R-rating is for violence and bloody images.
