Revry’s “Culture Q” Premieres This May With “Legendary” Guest Dashaun Wesley
Revry is ready to premiere its first original weekly news program. Culture Q will debut on May 6, 2021. The upcoming show will cover entertainment, pop culture, lifestyle and politics. The incredibly talented Dashaun Wesley will be the first guest!
Culture Q aims to emphasize the queer milieu and cement itself as the leading, weekly forum for boundary-pushing LGBTQ+ discussions and commentary. The show will be hosted by digital news influencer pioneers, Shira Lazar and Andy Lalwani of the highly successful What’s Trending (36 million monthly impressions). Featuring a ton of guests, Culture Q will premiere this Thursday May 6, 2021, at 5 pm PST / 8 pm EST. The show will continue every Thursday eve at the same time on the Revry News channel or On-Demand on Revry.
“Culture Q represents an opportunity to celebrate LGBTQ culture and highlight the stories that matter to our community,” said Damian Pelliccione, CEO of Revry. “Revry is committed to inspiring exploration of authentic LGBTQ stories.”
The first guest will be the MC of HBO Max’s Legendary Dashaun Wesley (an icon in the ballroom world). The second season of Legendary will debut on May 6, 2021. Of course, I plan on continuing with my reaction and review videos of the second season over at The Geekiary’s YouTube channel. So, if you haven’t already, do consider subscribing.
Coming back to the show in question, I will be checking out Culture Q. I’m here for Revry expanding the type of content available on said queer-centric streaming platform.
I have seen some of Lalwani’s tweets pop up occasionally on my timeline. From what I can tell, he doesn’t hesitate from sharing his opinions. Here’s to hoping that when talking about queer-related issues with his co-host, they don’t shy away from rightfully calling out certain people (even those from the queer community). All the best to them.
