“Digimon Adventure” Anime Gets New Visuals Teasing the Finale
The Digimon Adventure anime finale inches near. New promotional videos and an exciting visual have been shared.
The two new promotional videos for the Digimon Adventure anime are available on Toei Animation’s official YouTube channel. After teasing what to expect in the upcoming episodes, the videos offer a quick recap of the major events that have occurred in the anime. There’s a lot of emphasis on WarGreymon.
From what I can tell, the kids will soon meet up with Leomon as they continue to head toward the source of the darkness that is infecting the DigiWorld. Fans of the original Digimon anime (from 1999) know of Leomon’s fate. And as far I can tell, it sure looks like the reboot is headed in the same direction. Uh-oh!
Other than that, there’s an interesting promotional image you should know about. It features the Mega forms of the main group of Digimons. However, what caught my eye is the Digimon present in the bottom-right corner. The original anime featured Seraphimon as Takeru’s Mega Digimon partner. But, judging by the new image, it’s safe to assume Takeru will be getting Goldramon this time around.
If you think about it, such a decision does make sense if the writers want Takeru’s new Dragon Digimon to be compatible with Hikari’s Magnadramon (present in the top-left corner of the image).
I wouldn’t be surprised if Hikari and Takeru unlock the evolution branches for Ophanimon and Seraphimon after Goldramon and Mangnadramon. I say this because from what I can remember about the flashbacks in the anime, the Celestial Digimon are supposed to play an important role in saving the Digital World.
Premiering back on April 5, 2020, a total of 39 episodes of the Digimon Adventure reboot anime have aired. The series is being streamed on Crunchyroll. The current season is supposed to be 66 episodes long.
I have been covering certain episodes on our YouTube channel. The anime has faced some backlash due to focusing too much on Taichi and keeping the kids separated for a handful of episodes. However, with the team moving toward the final chapter together, I hope every DigiDestined gets their time to shine.

Definitely looking forward to the finale!
Ikr!!! I need the Mega Evolutions to showup already and the rest of kids… other than Taichi and Yamato… getting some cool moments!!!
Also, really interested in knowing if Patamon will be getting a Serpahimon Evo or will Goldramon be the only one.
People seem to forget Taichi is the star of the show and it is clearly people outside of Japan that doesn’t get this!
