FEELINGS Daily: RIP Chris Evans’ Beard!

ac102-3

Hey there, how was your weekend? Did you enjoy our coverage of C2E2? If you missed it you can check out what the girls have posted so far on our Conventions tag, and keep your eyes open because there’s more to come! Obviously, the best thing to come out of the convention was Hayley Atwell’s continued existence, but the other stuff was cool as well.

First up, there’s some awful stuff happening around the world, and I know some of you want to know how to help. Here are a couple of lists of suggested charities to donate to help the people effected by the earthquake in Nepal. Here and Here.

Now back to Hayley Atwell, she had this to say about the possibility of a second season of Agent Carter: “All I can say is, we find out — myself included — in about three weeks from now. You will know when I know.” (via Comic Book Resources)

Following Hayley Atwell on Twitter continues to be the best decision I have ever made. Who knew waiting at the airport could be so much fun?

Also when I woke up this morning our lovely admin Angel had linked me an article from The Mary Sue titled: “Hayley Atwell Speaks For Us All, Ships Peggy/Angie In Agent Carter”. She just gets me (I’m talking about both Hayley and Angel). Anyway, the title is a little clickbaity but it’s still pretty cool. Hayley did an impromptu twitter Q&A during her airport funtime and this is what she said about a Peggy/Angie date:

DEAR ABC PLEASE RENEW AGENT CARTER MY BODY WILL NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING ELSE!!!!!!!!!

Cosmopolitan highlighted the sexist double standard in Hollywood by flipping the script and asking Mark Ruffalo all the shallow questions Scarlett Johansson is usually asked. The interview is great, and it does a fantastic job of pointing out the problems female actors face in interviews, but the saddest part is that this is THE BEST interview I have ever seen about Black Widow. Scarlett actually gets to answer all these questions that I have been dying to hear, and it’s so depressing. I want these questions all the time please!

While we’re on the topic of feminism, there was a hashtag on and Twitter kind of screwed up… Actually Whovian Feminism says it better than me:

Sesame Street Avengers Parody because why not?

Obviously the biggest news of the day is the Chris Evans shaved his beard. It’s exciting because it means he’s about to start shooting Captain America: Civil War, but it’s also sad because no more beard.
