Funko Releasing Adorable 2018 Harry Potter Advent Calendar!
Who is ready to bring some Harry Potter magic as they count down to Christmas? The upcoming 2018 Harry Potter Advent Calendar from Funko sure looks like a must-have!
The 2018 Harry Potter Advent Calendar will include 24 mini Harry Potter Pop figures as well as a pop-up scene which is set during a snowy day at Hagrid’s Hut. It sounds and looks perfect!
Here’s the official description from Funko:
Countdown to Christmas with a line of Harry Potter-themed pocket Pop!
Featuring the Wizarding World’s favorite witches, wizards, beasts, ghosts and house elves, this Harry Potter advent calendar promises a very jolly Christmas indeed, especially when paired with treacle tart and a mug of hot Butterbeer. Celebrate the season with Harry Potter, Hermione Granger with a time turner, Ron Weasley, and more!
You never know who you are going to get!
The promotional image already shows 7 of the 24 mini Pop figures you can expect. I don’t see the Hermione figure with a time turner in the promo image. Do you?
Maybe the Hermione with a time turner figure is a variant? I say this because going by what we have seen from other Funko Advent Calendars variants are to be expected.
We might also get Harry in his Quidditch garb and more.
With Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald releasing this November, perhaps figures from that film franchise might appear? Exciting stuff!
Say what you want about certain problematic themes in the Wizarding World, such merchandise still makes fans (myself included) crazy.
You can go ahead and pre-order the 2018 Harry Potter Advent Calendar from Entertainment Earth for $56.99, which seems like an okay price for the items you will be getting.
Will you be buying one for yourself as well as someone else? Or will you want others to make it your Christmas gift?
