Sale Dates Announced for NYCC 2025

For those, like me, who have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of ticket sales for this year’s New York Comic Con, the wait is finally over! ReedPop announced the sale dates today.

NYCC, which will be held in the Javits Convention Center in New York City from October 9-12 of this year, typically has multiple presales before the general – or open – sale. This year, it seems as though they have eliminated the VIP presale and have gone back to the standard Superfan and Fan Verification presales only.

The important dates for this year’s NYCC are below. All times are Eastern.

  • Wed, June 4 @ 12pm: Superfan presale. This presale is only eligible for those who have purchased the NYCC Superfan membership. (This was previously a ReedPop Superfan, but this year they have changed the terms and you now have to pick a specific ReedPop convention.) Ends Fri, June 6 @ 12pm.
  • Sun, June 15 @ 10am: Fan Verification presale. This presale is only for people who were Fan Verified in 2024, either by actively confirming your status, or creating your account. Ends Mon, June 16 @ 12pm.
  • Mon, June 16 @ 12pm: Fan Verification opens. Anyone who wants to attend NYCC needs a Fan Verification profile. If you have not already created one and you wish to attend in 2025, you will need to create an account during this window. Ends June 22 @ 12am.
  • Wed, June 25 @ 12pm: General onsale. This sale is open to everyone, provided they have a Fan Verification account.

Pricing is as follows (all prices are USD):

  • VIP: $800
  • 4-day: $260
  • Single Day: $80

I’m not surprised by the loss of the VIP presale. There were a lot of complaints about that last year, because it basically means the only people who could ever buy VIP tickets were people who bought them the year they brought VIP back. There were very few tickets available for others to buy.

If you’re a returning attendee, you know what to do. If you’re a new attendee, welcome and good luck! I highly recommend checking out my NYCC Beginner’s Guide for tips and information. (As ticket sales was literally just announced, the guide still has last year’s information. I’ll update it shortly.)
