Fans of the SteamWorld franchise can look forward to playing the titles on Google Stadia. SteamWorld Dig 2 and SteamWorld Quest are currently available for fans to play. SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Heist will launch come March 10, 2020.
The announcement was made by Thunderful Publishing and Image & Form. The current launch is part of the franchise’s 10th year anniversary. SteamWorld Dig 2 and SteamWorld Quest can be purchased immediately while Pro subscribers can get instant access to them.
As mentioned, SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Heist will arrive on the new platform on March 10, 2020.
“Bringing our beloved SteamWorld franchise to Google Stadia is an exciting prospect,” said Brjann Siguriersson, CEO of Image & Form and Thunderful. “Stadia provides a new way for players to enjoy video games and we’re thrilled to offer up our SteamWorld titles on the platform for even more gamers to enjoy.”
For those interested, you get a Metroidvania gameplay experience in the mining adventure titles SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Dig 2. You will get to take a journey through space in the turn-based strategy and “hat collecting masterpiece,” SteamWorld Heist.
SteamWorld Quest offers an RPG experience with tactical card-based gameplay. I have reviewed SteamWorld Quest and I highly recommend that you consider playing this game. It’s great.
