“Superman & Lois: The Complete Second Season” Gets September Blu-ray & DVD Release!

Fans of The CW’s live-action Superman & Lois series can look forward to owning the complete second season on Blu-ray and DVD come September 27, 2022.

Courtesy of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, the Superman & Lois: The Complete Second Season home release will consist of all 15 episodes along with extra features. You can purchase it on Blu-ray for $24.99 USD ($29.99 CAD) and on DVD for $19.99 USD ($24.99 CAD). Take note; the Blu-ray release will include a digital copy (the U.S. only). The show is also available to own on Digital and is streaming on HBO Max.  

The synopsis for the second season reads:

Season two of Superman & Lois opens with the dust still settling in Smallville following the shocking outcome of last season’s confrontation between Morgan Edge and Superman. With Smallville on the national map for the first time in the town’s history, Lois Lane faces fresh challenges in her latest journalistic endeavors, while Jordan and Jonathan also find themselves dealing with change.

Superman & Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch as the titular characters. The cast also includes Jordan Elsass, Alex Garfin, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, Wolé Parks, Tayler Buck, Sofia Hasmik, Dylan Walsh, and Emmanuelle Chriqui.

Based on the DC characters, and Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the series was developed by Greg Berlanti and Todd Helbing, who executive produce alongside Sarah Schechter, Geoff Johns, and David Madden.

The Blu-ray (3 discs) and DVD (3 discs) are presented in 16×9 widescreen format. The running time comes in at approximately 705 minutes with the Enhanced content being almost 27 minutes.

Superman & Lois has already been renewed for a third season. Debuting back in February of 2021, the series has gone on to air a total of 30 episodes with the season two finale airing on June 28, 2022.
