Syfy has announced that both SurrealEstate season 2 and Chucky season 3 will premiere come October 4, 2023. I’m so excited to watch and cover these shows!

Let’s talk about SurrealEstate season 2 first. As someone who loved the debut season (you can read my episode reviews here), I’m so glad the series will continue especially after Syfy initially decided to cancel it. The wait has been long (the season one finale premiered in September 2021), but hey! At least we will get new content soon enough.

The show stars Tim Rozon, Sarah Levy, Adam Korson, Maurice Dean Wint, and Savannah Basley, with all five playing fictional characters working for the Roman Agency, a real estate business that specializes in selling haunted or possessed houses. It’s such an interesting premise!

Created by George R. Olson, the first season followed a ghost-of-the-week format with a larger story arc developing as the series progressed. We got to learn quite a bit about the lead characters, and yes, the team possesses various skills and abilities that come in handy during certain situations.

The second season of SurrealEstate will air on Syfy on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 10 PM.

The 10-episode-long first season is currently available for streaming via Hulu. I recommend you binge-watching to prepare for the second outing.

Here’s the trailer for the upcoming season!

Judging from what’s shown, I’m here for Susan Ireland (Levy) using more of her pyrokinesis. Also, it seems like the Roman Agency has recruited a new team member.

As for Chucky season 3, the latest installment, featuring the iconic serial killer doll, will also debut on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, but at 9 PM on USA Network and Syfy. The episodes will be available the next day on Peacock.

The promo involved Chucky holding a press conference. He didn’t offer a lot of details, but he did mention going to DC and Jennifer Tilly’s return.

Created by Don Mancini, the first season premiered back in October 2021.

You can read my coverage of Chucky seasons one and two here.

Depending on the services available to you, going into SurrealEstate after watching an episode of Chucky is going to be so much fun!

It will delay my coverage for both shows, but still, I’m here for a full hour of horror/campy fun!
