The Geekiary’s 10th Anniversary
Ten years ago today, myself and a couple of friends wanted to start a blog. We wanted a place to put all of our geeky opinions and ideas that we could call our own. And thus, The Geekiary was founded.
We’ve grown and expanded over the years, finding our voices and our focus as we went on. In our decade of making content we’ve attended well over a hundred conventions and hosted panels, volunteered on convention staff, or even run our own cons. We’ve loved some pieces of media, and criticized others. And sometimes we weren’t sure how we felt and were, quite simply, perplexed.
Most of all, our long-time writers have made new friendships and found-family as we’ve made our way through the geek blog world. Members of The Geekiary have become a family to me, and the devoted readers who keep us motivated continue to fuel us forward. We couldn’t have done it without any of you.
Cheers to another decade and beyond! Thank you for reading, watching, or listening to our content.
Sincerely,
Admin Angel
