“Toy Story 4” Official Trailer Released! Should They Have Made Another One?

Toy Story 4 Official Trailer review

The official new trailer for Toy Story 4 has been released. It introduces a new type of toy and also makes Woody question a toy’s purpose in life. Do you think Disney/Pixar should have made another film in this franchise?

As far as my opinion goes, Toy Story 3 concluded things quite nicely. However, then news about Bo Peep’s return surfaced and fans knew there was another movie in the works. Judging by the trailer, Bo and Woody have very different outlooks toward their life as toys. It will be interesting to see if Woody decides to stay with Bo or if she will come live with Bonnie. Maybe the two will part ways because they have grown apart too much?

Whatever happens, I just don’t want Bo to be revealed as the villain.

Here’s the official trailer!

Here’s my reaction!

Toy Story 4 seems ready to make adults cry as the lead toys try to figure out what to do. The scene with Woody and Bo standing under a car during the rain is beautiful.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.

The cast includes Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Annie Potts as Bo Peep, Joan Cusack as Jessie, Jodi Benson as Barbie, Michael Keaton as Ken, Tony Hale as Forky, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele as Ducky and Bunny, and Keanu Reeves as Duke Kaboom.

Toy Story 4 will be released in theaters on June 21, 2019.

New York Toy Fair 2019 showed some of the merchandise for this animated film.
