Island Sim/Action-Adventure “Len’s Island” Gets Steam Release This November!

After a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2020, Flow Studio has announced that the action-adventure island sim mash-up, Len’s Island will launch on Steam Early Access for PC and Mac come November 5, 2021. It will be available for £19.49 / $24.99 / €20.99.

The upcoming island simulation game allows players to select their own playstyle. In Len’s Island, you can decide if you want your character to live a simple life or if you want to arm yourself and go explore mysteries. The creatives behind this game made sure to offer something for every type of gamer. The team hopes to appeal to fans of hardcore dungeon-crawlers, home-builders and decorators, explorers and completionists, farming fanatics, collectable hoarders, and more.

Flow Studio is ready to keep releasing new content for Len’s Island, including full multiplayer co-op by 2023. More updates include new quests and NPC’s, more dungeons and a final boss of the island. The team will also be expanding on the lore and story while adding more content meant for farming, building, and combat. 

“I started on Len’s Island as a solo project 4 years ago with the ambition of developing my vision of the perfect game!” shared Julian Ball, owner of Flow Studio. “Following the Kickstarter campaign, we’ve been able to build an international team who have helped me bring this vision to life. The guys have injected so much love and energy into Len’s Island, I believe that together we’ve crafted a beautiful, immersive, captivating and meaningful experience which we just can’t wait for people to discover.”

The Key Features include:

• Building the home of your dreams – With a unique modular building system, players can build wherever they want, make it as big as they want, and choose from a range of materials to satisfy their creativity.
• Looking for some action? – Len’s Island can also be played as a fast-paced, skill-driven dungeon crawler. There are deep, dark caves below the island with plenty more to explore to keep players engaged.
• Tending to your crops – Players can grow food and even exotic plants and flowers to sell back to the villagers for gold. You can grow large-scale farms throughout the forest, or focus on taking care of small garden beds on your balcony.
• Exploring the world and rebuilding your surroundings – There are many rewarding adventures for players to experience. Some of them include finding a long lost sword, rebuilding an old broken bridge or finding hidden rooms in the dungeons. 

As for Flow Studio, it is based in Brisbane, Australia. The 2020 Kickstarter campaign for Len’s Island was able to raise AUD $58,579, allowing the development to progress from a solo project to a small indie team developing a game with AAA scope. Len’s Island is self-published and all other funding has been supplemented by the owner, Julian Ball. You can find more information about Flow Studio by visiting the official website.
