Experience the Spider-Verse in IMAX for One Week Only

Perhaps one of the most anticipated sequels of 2023 is the upcoming animated Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Miles Morales is back in this all-new adventure, sequel to 2018’s Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. And for one week only, you can experience his webslinging antics in IMAX. (Provided you live near an IMAX screen, of course.)

The animation team has done it again with jaw-dropping visuals. Carrying over the effects from the first film, a unique style that makes it seem as though you’re watching a comic book come to life, the team laboriously created six different styles for the film, with the different universes each having their own look.

After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most. 

The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, from a screenplay by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham. It is produced by Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Christina Steinberg, with executive producers Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, Rodney Rothman, Aditya Sood, Rebecca Karch, and Brian Bendis.

The cast includes Shameik Moore (Miles), Hailee Steinfeld (Gwen), Jake Johnson (Peter B. Parker), Issa Rae (Jessica Drew / Spider-Woman), Daniel Kaluuya (Hobie Brown / Spider-Punk), Karan Soni (Pavitr Prabhakar / Spider-Man India), Jason Schwartzman (Dr. Jonathan Ohnn / The Spot), Brian Tyree Henry (Jefferson Davis), Luna Lauren Velez (Rio Morales), Greta Lee (Lyla), Rachel Dratch (school counselor), Jorma Taccone (Vulture), Shea Whigham (George Stacy), Andy Samberg (Ben Reilly / Scarlet Spider and Kaine Parker / Scarlet Spider), and Oscar Isaac (Miguel O’Hara / Spider-Man 2099).
