Indie developer Eric Osuna and publisher Dolores Entertainment will release A Pizza Delivery on PC (Steam), PS5, and the Xbox Series on November 9, 2025. Are you ready to deliver pizza while traversing weird environments?

Yeah. I have to say that I was intrigued by this upcoming video game the moment I read the subject line in the press release email I received. Like, what do you mean I can play as a pizza delivery person responsible for taking pizza to people living in strange realities? Then I watched the visually appealing trailer and I just had to share the news with you.

A Pizza Delivery puts you in the shoes of “B”, a pizza delivery rider on her final order of the day. However, her food deliveries aren’t ordinary. You will have to travel through a surreal world prone to sudden shifts in scenery. The narrative and gameplay mechanics include puzzles and emotional beats that promote moments of quiet introspection. Apparantly, the world has been described as a mental space, “a liminal realm” that people stuck in limbo share. The emotional threads cover stories of “unease, instability, and longing.” Well, I guess a good slice of pizza can solve such melancholy?

B will get to interact with a cast of characters, with the storyline also allowing her to explore her passions and regrets. And yeah, you can ride the delivery scooter.

A Pizza Delivery can be purchased for $13.99 EUR, a 20% discount on the original price. The discount will last for the first two weeks. You can go ahead and Wishlist the game right now on Steam. There’s also a free demo for you to play.

I do like the visuals. The landscapes do appear quite distinct. The puzzles seem easy, and I like how there doesn’t seem to be a timer to race against. I’m all here for video games that allow players to take their time exploring locations and solving their path forward. From what I can tell, sharing a slice of pizza will encourage characters to open up to you. B can also find various objects to learn more about the people she’s interacting with.

A Pizza Delivery just looks nice to me, and I hope it experiences a warm response upon release this November.

As for Eric Osuna (25 years old!), he’s a solo developer and visual artist from Barcelona, with A Pizza Delivery being the debut title. Osuna’s been inspired by Miyazaki’s Studio Ghibli films. Spirited Away was a clear influence reflected in the upcoming game’s environments, buildings, and mood. His creative approach was also shaped by the quiet minimalism and “design by subtraction” philosophy of Fumito Ueda’s Ico.

For those who might not be familiar, Ico was released way back in 2001. It’s an action-adventure game for the PlayStation 2, with the narrative based on the “boy meets girl” trope. Ico’s the name of a horned boy who is considered a bad omen by his village. After being locked in an abandoned castle, Ico frees Yorda and the two work together to face enemies and solve puzzles. Met with universal acclaim, it went on to influence tons of video games down the line. Similar to that title, Osuna’s game wants to emphasize emotion through simplicity and silence.

I’m excited for this one!
