CultureFly Winter 2025/2026 Star Wars Galaxy Box “Rebellion” Theme – Review

CultureFly is back to releasing the Star Wars Galaxy Box after a hiatus. Following the ‘Rebellion’ or the ‘Rebel Alliance’ theme, the 2025/2026 Winter box was filled with items I couldn’t wait to make part of my routine.

I have been waiting for CultureFly’s return to continuing the Star Wars Galaxy Box subscription after the company announced last year that it was taking a hiatus to change up the release schedule. The new subscription model was going to shift to biannual boxes instead of quarterly. You would have to pay more per box. However, the company promised that the price tag was more than worth it due to the boxes containing even higher quality items than before.

So, did CultureFly fulfill the promise?

In my opinion, they sure did, and I’m already looking forward to the officially licensed and exclusive goodies in store for this year’s second Star Wars Galaxy box.

The box I received was designed to resemble a lootbox meant for a rebel. You could see the Rebel Alliance logo featured everywhere. The sides of the box had an image of handles, adding to the feel of the box meant to be a secret cache for rebel personnel (more or less, the X-Wing Squadron). Opening the box (which had a magnetic flap), the interior also featured details, including a radar screen. I’m a fan of CultureFly boxes showcasing cool designs and encouraging people to reuse them for display or storage purposes.

The first item I took out was the 5 Panel Hat. Made of 100% polyester, it had a one-size-fits-most design with a plastic snap closure. The top of the hat featured a patch about the Battle of Yavin. The back had a patch about the mission being about the Destruction of the Death Star. The cap was dark green with the underbill design being camo.

The next item was the Wallet Case with a Field Notebook, which measured approximately 6.1 x 4.3 inches. The notebook’s supposed to have 80 lined pages. Taking it out of the wallet case, it’s your usual notebook with a black cover featuring the Rebel logo. The logo’s also present on each page. The accompanying black pen measured about 6 inches. Even though it was nice to write with, I have to say I was expecting some kind of Star Wars theme on the pen. When separated from the notebook, you couldn’t tell it came in a Star Wars subscription box.

As for the wallet case, it’s brown with the front featuring the logo. The inside followed the green and camo motif. It’s a bit too big for my liking when it comes to having a case for my wallet. However, I might think about using it to hold my passport. The wallet case had a loop on the right to carry the pen.

Then came the Stainless Steel Bottle, meant to hold 32 fl oz. and measuring an estimated 10.5×3.5 inches. Already knowing the items this box would contain, the bottle was one of the things I was quite excited about. It’s a durable bottle with a black cap. You can flip open a part at the top to sip water from. Of course, you unscrew the cap to refill it. There’s also a sturdy strap with a plastic clasp if you want to attach the bottle to a bag or something.

The design on the bottle showcases the different Rebellion logos and the X-wing. It also has the words ‘Rebel Commander’ on it.

Take note that even though CultureFly says the bottle can hold 32 fl oz., the sticker on the bottom of the bottle mentions 24 fl oz. It’s also not dishwasher-safe.

Next up, there’s the double-clasped circular enamel pin featuring a design depicting the X-wing and the mission to destroy the Death Star. I’m not the biggest fan of enamel pins out there, but I think collectors will appreciate this one.

Coming to the wearable, the box contained the Rebellion Button Up Long-Sleeved Pilot Jacket. Made of 100% cotton, it was another item I was excited to get my hands on. It’s definitely one of my favorite wearables from CultureFly. The material’s thick, which helped during the cold we’re experiencing over in Canada right now.

The design followed the camo motif, with a bunch of patches depicting the Rebel logo and the mission to eliminate the Death Star. The front had four pockets; two on the chest and two at the bottom. The back had cool-looking images of an X-wing.

The last item was… another one that had me excited… the Rebellion Backpack. Constructed with 100% polyester, it measured around 17.75×13.75×6.25-inches. Again, sticking to the green and camo, the front 6 patches, depicting the Rebellion, the Death Star, and how you should join the Rebellion, too. The front panel had a pocket at the top with an orange zipper. The front panel itself opened and was spacious enough to hold the stainless steel bottle and more.

The bag opened to reveal a mesh lining on the inside as well as even more pockets!

The main body’s big enough to easily carry a laptop and a couple of books. There are two zipped pockets on the inside as well as a bunch of compartments to hold your pens, pencils, notebooks, and other knick-knacks.

The backpack has mesh sidepockets. You can carry a 500mL waterbottle in one of them. The two straps are adjustable and can be clasped together in front of your chest. The straps also have 6 loops each, if you want to carry even more stuff. There’s also a handle at the top.

Think of this backpack as one you can take on a hike or a short camping trip. It’s got that many pockets and compartments to help store almost everything you might need.

I’m a fan of the Star Wars Galaxy Box because it will contain items I can incorporate into my daily life. And the ‘Rebellion’ Theme box gave me a bunch of stuff. I wore the cap, shirt, and backpack to work the following day after receiving the box. Of course, I also took the stainless steel bottle.

Everybody complimented how I looked, with the shirt and the backpack receiving the most praise. And yes, I continue taking the stainless bottle and the backpack to work, with the shirt being in rotation. I’ll be wearing the cap more once it starts getting warmer over here. I was only able to wear the cap once to work because even though it was cold outside, I wanted to make my outfit look complete.

With the Bi-Annual model making each box cost around $120 USD, I do think the items I received would have cost me more if bought individually. Also, the price was worth it to me because I’m able to get the most use out of a majority of the items.

If you’re into actually usable and officially licensed exclusive Star Wars merch, I would recommend checking out what CultureFly has to offer.
