#Tarlos Lives! “9-1-1: Lone Star” Renewed For a Third Season!
Fox has decided to renew its top-performing 9-1-1 franchise. This means that 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 3 is going to happen! We will continue to get more Tarlos content!
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been refreshing my Twitter feed to get updates from @911TVNews. Due to the impressive ratings, the fandom knew 9-1-1: Lone Star deserved a renewal. But I was a bit nervous because who knows what TPTB end up deciding during Fox’s Upfront presentation. Anyway, we now have confirmation about the show returning for a third season. Yay!
For those wondering, the main 9-1-1 series will also be back for a fifth season. According to TVLine, the fifth outing will stick to its time slot this fall, airing Mondays at 8/7c. However, fans will have to wait until January of 2022 to watch the third season of 9-1-1: Lone Star. That’s a long wait. But at least it’s better than the alternative.
With 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 2 only having two more episodes left to go, I’m holding off on speculations and what I would like to see occur during the third season for now. However, I do have my fingers crossed that the relationship between T.K. Strand (Ronen Rubinstein) and Carlos Reyes (Rafael Silva) continues to develop and we get to see a Tarlos wedding!
If you’re interested, I have been recording my reactions to Tarlos scenes over on The Geekiary’s YouTube channel.
Episode 12, titled ‘The Big Heat’, gave us some amazing Tarlos moments as T.K. and Carlos dealt with a tense situation in their relationship (due to their fathers) and a life-threatening event. My heart!
The penultimate episode, ‘One Day’, will air tonight at 9/8c. The finale (episode 14) will air on May 24, 2021.
I’m disappointed the second season is coming to a close, but again, at least we know the series will return.

I’m NOT HAPPY in fact I’m furious that we have to wait 6 months for Line Star for that Big Leap. That should have been mid season.
