C2E2 Cosplay Highlights
Prior to C2E2, myself and fellow Geekiary author Erin had a feeling that the convention was really trying to push cosplay into the spotlight. And I mean, who can blame them? Cosplay is basically its own cultural phenomenon these days.
Not only did C2E2 have two fabric companies in attendance, they also had a Cospitality Lounge where people could chill out and even fix their costumes, as well as cosplay panels, guests, a “Crown Championship of Cosplay” contest, and more. I found the convention as a whole a lot more cosplay-friendly than many others I’ve attended, and I’m really hoping that C2E2 cosplay continues to be a featured part of the event in the future!
Here are some of mine and Erin’s C2E2 cosplay highlights – and you can find a few more on The Geekiary’s Instagram!
There are always a lot of Elsas in this, the Age of Frozen…but catching sight of Elsa along with FIRE Elsa was awesome.
Jon Snow and Arya Stark…we loved that she had the cart complete with shells!
(Seriously, that’s some dedication right there.)
Meanwhile, sometimes even the simplest costumes can be the best/most hilarious, and these three were no exception.
(Though perhaps Shireen is a bit too soon? Whatever, still funny.)
Of course we couldn’t pass up this family photo…
I practically chased down this amazing Missandei so that Erin could grab a quick photo.
Emperor Trump…I mean, Palpatine…was a must-see!
I pretty much love all Harry Potter cosplay and was so happy that Erin caught sight of these lovely Quidditch players.
As a huge Steven Universe fan, these two basically made my day on Saturday.
Getting a photo with Spider-Man was this Spider-Gwen’s must of the day…plus we got a funny photobomb!
This, um, “Matt” was great, even if I’m incredulous about his identity.
I caught sight of this Scavenger Rey on the last day of the convention and had to grab a photo, because it’s rare you see a version with the goggles and everything, and I love it!
Nothing wrong with a bunch of Johnny Depp characters, either!
(Though I had just missed the Captain Jack Sparrow that was part of the group, oops.)
Of course that’s just a small sample of some of the amazing C2E2 cosplay that we saw throughout the weekend. What’s your favorite from this bunch? Did you attend the convention and have favorites of your own? Let us know in the comments!

Besides, even if everyone is always so good & dedicated, for this round my favs are the Steven Universe gang (so inventive!) & the Johnny Depp club (…where is the rhum?!) <3
