Dangerous Villains for CW’s Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Crossover Revealed!

Invasion DC Comics Arrow The Flash Supergirl DCs Legends of Tomorrow Dominators

The big villains for the upcoming mega Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow crossover event have been revealed. It needed to be a very big threat for all four shows to come together, and I do think the Dominators are the right choice.

The Dominators are a highly advanced alien race. They are also master geneticists. If the show runners are able to do them justice, then the upcoming crossover could make for some must-watch content on TV.

“This year, for our mega ‘Arrowverse’ crossover, we’re taking inspiration from a DC crossover from the late 1980s known as ‘Invasion!,’ which featured an alien race called the Dominators, who’d previously vexed the Legion of Super-Heroes,” said Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim in a statement. “We’re using cutting-edge prosthetics and computer effects to achieve a feature film-quality look which is faithful to Invasion! artist Todd McFarlane’s interpretation of the characters.” (via CBR)

The plot for ‘Invasion!’ Had to do with the Dominators partnering up with other aliens by making metahumans seem like a universal threat. These aliens included the Durlans, Khunds, Thanagarians (the alien race that Hawkgirl and Hawkman are from), and the Daxamites. However, what other aliens didn’t know was that the Dominators had their own reasons for the invasion. They wanted to control the metagene and create a powerful army for themselves. Of course, the heroes were able to defeat them but a Gene Bomb was detonated. Instead of killing metahumans, it ended up creating more. If the show follows a similar plot, would it mean we’ll be seeing more metahumans make their debuts?

The mega-crossover will air sometime in December 2016. As far as the participating shows are concerned, The Flash will return to the CW on October 4th, Arrow on October 5th, Supergirl on October 10th and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on October 13th.

What are your thoughts regarding the upcoming mega crossover event? Do you watch all of the four superhero shows? Let us know!
