World’s Most Advanced Optimus Prime Robot Announced at Hasbro Pulse Fan Fest

Fans of the long-running Transformers franchise have an amazing item to collect. Robosen Robotics (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd has teamed up with Hasbro to offer the most advanced and programmable Optimus Prime robot!

The announcement was made during Hasbro Pulse Fan Fest. The Transformers Optimus Prime Auto-Converting Programmable Advanced Robot – Collector’s Edition can be yours for $699 USD. It is currently available for pre-order at Hasbro Pulse (HasbroPulse.com).

You can watch the Hasbro Pulse Fan Fest on YouTube. It includes footage of the latest Transformers robot in action (at the 1 hour 10-minutes mark). It’s incredibly cool to see Optimus Prime transform from a truck into his robot form himself. You can also make him strike a variety of awesome poses and even talk to him.

Along with the current Optimus Prime robot, the show also shared merchandise from Fortnite, Power Rangers, Marvel, Star Wars, and more. 

Coming back to the robot, it took the Robosen team 11 years to produce, what’s being described as, “the first-ever consumer robot that features a comprehensive set of functions, including automatic convertible movement from vehicle to robot, bipedal walking ability in robot form, race function in vehicle form, programmable/code development, and robot control/commands by either voice or via mobile app.”

Yes, I’m incredibly impressed. I want one!

For those who might not know, during last year’s CES, Robosen Robotics debuted the T9, an advanced programmable robot.
