It finally happened. Resident Evil has entered the world of Dead by Daylight. The latest Resident Evil chapter allows you to play as Chis, Claire, Leon, and Jill. And, of course, you can cause fear and havoc as the Nemesis, too.

While we wait for an actual Resident Evil game featuring Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, and Jill Valentine, at least you can have these four iconic characters try and survive Nemesis in Dead by Daylight.

In the current Resident Evil chapter, we have Nemesis (known in-game as The Tyrant) giving you the ability to use his powerful tentacle to infect Survivors and gradually make them weaker. Nemesis is accompanied by zombies, the first AI-controlled characters to step into the Fog.

As for the Survivors, we have Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine. Both come with three perks each to defend themselves from enemies. According to YouTuber Yerv, Leon’s perks include the ability to create a flash grenade, making no noise when healing, and getting to see the regressing aura of generators.

Jill’s perks include being able to cleanse totems and revealing them, being able to heal faster when unhooked and unhooking yourself, and the ability to plant a mine inside a generator to blind and stun the Killer.

Vaccines are also peppered throughout the Raccoon City police station to fight infections.

The Resident Evil Chapter marks an important milestone for Dead by Daylight and we’re very moved to finally see it out!” shared Dave Richard, Creative Director for Dead by Daylight. “On top of immersing fans in one of the most popular horror universes, we’re also introducing new dynamics such as the integration of AI-controlled characters. This will give players something completely new to discover and we can’t wait for them to finally experience it!”

As for Chris and Claire, the Legendary Sets are available through the Resident Evil Collection in the in-game store. Chris Redfield is available as a Legendary Set for Leon while Claire is available as a Legendary Set for Jill Valentine.

Here’s the trailer!

The Resident Evil franchise gave birth to a multitude of iconic characters throughout the years, and we know that fans each have their own favorite. So, the addition of two Legendary Sets introducing Chris and Claire Redfield is a way for us to treat our players a little more, while making this new Dead by Daylight chapter even richer,” explained Richard.

Fans wanting more looks for Leon and Jill will be glad to know that their respective Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 3 outfits are available, too, through Leon’s Persistent Investigator Outfit and the Impervious Agent Outfit for Jill.

Both outfits are available right now for 1,080 Auric Cells from the in-game store, while the Chris and Claire Legendary Sets can be purchased for 1,485 Auric Cells.

The Resident Evil Chapter is available today for US$11.99 via Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Steam, Windows Store, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Take note; those who purchase the Resident Evil Chapter will get a free exclusive in-game charm: the Umbrella Corporation. Additionally, you can also make use of current promotions, giving up to 50% off on selected items, including the Dead by Daylight game and chapters on their platform.
