“RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Versus the World” Season 2 Reveals International Cast!

The cast of the upcoming reality competition show RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs. The World season 2 has been revealed. A total of 11 Drag Queens from around the globe will battle it out to determine the newest winner of the title Queen of the Mothertucking World.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs. the World will have its selected cast of impressive Drag Queens representing seven franchises from the long-running RPDR IP. The second season will also have a cash prize, making it the first-ever UK-based season to have one. However, from what I’m able to gather, the exact amount of the cash prize hasn’t been revealed yet. (via EW)

From the United States, we have Mayhem Miller (RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10, All Stars 5) and Scarlet Envy (RPDR season 11, All Stars 6). Mayhem Miller got 1oth place in the main series and 7th in All Stars. Scarlet Envy also finished in 10th place in the main season and got 9th place during All Stars. 

Competing on their home turf, from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, we have Gothy Kendoll (Season 1), Tia Kofi (season 2), Choriza May (season 3), and Jonbers Blonde (season 4). Gothy Kendoll got 10th place. Tia Kofi finished in 7th place. Choriza May got 6th place. And Jonbers Blonde came in 3rd place. 

The rest of the cast includes Arantxa Castilla-La Mancha (Drag Race Espana season 1), Hannah Conda (RPDR Down Under season 2), La Grande Dame (Drag Race France season 1), Marina Summers (Drag Race Philippines season 1), and Keta Minaj (Drag Race Holland season 2). The contestants got 7th, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, and 4th place respectively.

If we’re going by the rankings, Hannah Conda, La Grande Dame, and Marina Summers are definitely the ones to watch because all three of them were runner-ups in their seasons. Jonbers Blonde isn’t one to be taken lightly either.

However, having said that Blu Hydrangea won RPDR UK vs. the World season 1 back in March of 2022 and she placed 5th during RPDR UK season one. So, yeah, anything can happen.

The iconic RuPaul will return to the franchise as the head judge along with mainstays Michelle Visage, Graham Norton, and Alan Carr. Of course, fans can expect numerous guest judges and celebrities to make an appearance throughout the upcoming show. Season one of the series had Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton, Fellow Travelers).

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs. the World season 2 is looking towards a Friday, February 9, 2024, debut on the WOW Presents Plus streaming app.

With the cast and premiere date revealed for the second season of RPDR UK vs. the World, I guess it’s safe to assume that we will hear news about the cast of Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World season 2 soon. Ra’Jah O’Hara (RPDR season 11, All Stars 6) won that particular season back in December of 2022.
