STARZ Will Bring Back “P-Valley” For Season 3!

In news that made me happy, STARZ has officially renewed the highly enjoyable and queer-inclusive series P-Valley for a third season.

Created and executive produced by Pulitzer Prize winner Katori Hall, the upcoming P-Valley season 3 will consist of 10 episodes. The series debuted back in July of 2020 with season 2 airing the finale on August 14, 2022. I covered the show’s second season by doing recap and review videos over on The Geekiary’s YouTube channel.

According to the data shared in the press release, the second season of P-Valley was able to average approximately 10.3 million across linear, VOD, and streaming platforms domestically. Such a number was up +23% vs season one in the same time frame. As a fan of the show, this increase in viewership makes me glad.

The second season had the characters not only dealing with the emotionally heavy events of the previous season but also the real-world panini. Uncle Clifford and her girls went through a lot trying to keep the business alive at The Pynk. A lot of political shenanigans also took place as well as Autumn deciding to leave. And yes, I’m very concerned about Keyshawn and her kids.
