“The Flash: The Complete Eighth Season” Gets October Blu-ray & DVD Release!
Fans of the long-running The Flash live-action series can look forward to owning the entire eighth season on Blu-ray and DVD come October 18, 2022. Of course, the upcoming home release will include extra content.
Courtesy of Warner Bros Home Entertainment, The Flash season 8 Blu-ray and DVD will be priced to own at $29.98 SRP for the DVD ($39.99 in Canada) and $39.99 for the Blu-ray ($44.98 in Canada), which includes a Digital copy (the U.S. only). The entire eighth season of The Flash is currently available to own on Digital.
The official description reads:
After defeating Godspeed with the help of his speedster children from the future, Bart and Nora, Barry Allen aka The Flash is back to face new challenges. With the help of Team Flash at STAR Labs including Caitlin Snow, Frost, Allegra Garcia and Chester P. Runk along with his family, The Flash will face villains old and new in Central City. The season begins with an epic five-episode event, “Armageddon” featuring crossover characters from across the Arrowverse.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Danielle Nicolet, Kayla Compton, Brandon McKnight, and Jesse L. Martin. Based on the characters from DC, the show has been produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti, Eric Wallace, Sarah Schechter, Jonathan Butler, Gabriel Garza, and Sam Chalsen.

The Blu-ray (3 discs) and DVD (4 discs) will be presented in 16×9 widescreen format. The approximate running time comes in at a whopping 880 minutes.
For those who might now know, The Flash has been renewed for a ninth and final season. As of writing this, there’s been no premiere date announced for season 9.
