“The Steven Spielberg: The Spotlight Collection” Gets June Release

Fans of cinema, and the iconic director Steven Spielberg, can look forward to owning The Steven Spielberg: The Spotlight Collection come June 9, 2026, via Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

The upcoming physical home media release contains eight of the director’s most career-defining films, along with bonus features for fans to enjoy. Take note that the all-new Steven Spielberg: The Spotlight Collection will be available on 4K Ultra HD, including Blu-ray and Digital versions. Preorders are currently open.

This will be a limited collection, with only 5,700 units manufactured across the USA and Canada. You can get it in the USA from Amazon, while Canadians can add this offering to their collection from Amazon and GRUV.

The eight movies in the collection include Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Jurassic Park (my favorite!), Schindler’s List, Saving Private Ryan, and War of the Worlds.

I like the variety of genres featured in this collection, meant to showcase Spielberg’s incredible range.

And for those wondering, when it comes to the studios linked to the featured films, well, yes, this physical release is in partnership with Paramount Home Entertainment and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, making it, currently, the only way for fans to own said 8 films together.
