Get ready to revisit the iconic monsters this Halloween when the Universal Classic Monsters Limited Collection debuts on 4K come October 3, 2023. The upcoming offering includes 8 classic monster films along with hours of extra content.
Along with being available on 4K UHD, the 8-disc-containing Universal Classic Monsters Limited Collection will also be up for grabs on Digital from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
The 8 iconic films in the collection include:
- Dracula (1931)
- Frankenstein (1931)
- The Mummy (1932)
- The Invisible Man (1933)
- Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
- The Wolf Man (1941)
- Phantom of the Opera (1943)
- Creature From the Black Lagoon (1954)
Take note, exclusive to Amazon, the upcoming limited release (only 5,500 units) consists of book-style packaging with rare photos, bios, trivia, and original cover art by artist Tristan Eaton.
Eaton has a long history of creating art inspired by the Universal Classic Monsters. His murals for Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, and Creature from the Black Lagoon are on display on the Universal Studios back lot. Eaton was commissioned in 2023 by Universal Pictures to create an exclusive artwork depicting all 8 monsters.
