7th Annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards: Vote for Your Faves Now!

Last week, the nominees for Crunchyroll’s 7th annual Anime Awards were announced. Global voting is now open for an impressive list of nominees, which recognize more than 30 anime studios, eight streaming platforms, over 50 series and films, and more than 50 voice actors.

The 2023 Anime Awards will be held in Japan for the first time ever, broadcast live for fans on a global livestream. The live ceremony will be held March 4 at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa in Tokyo and will be hosted by renowned voice actress Sally Amaki and popular entertainer Jon Kabira. Kenichiro Yoshida, Chairman, President and CEO of Sony Group Corporation, will open the festivities.

“The 2023 Crunchyroll Anime Awards are a global celebration of anime, which inspires emotion and joy to people and has the power to create global communities,” said Yoshida. “Crunchyroll is committed to spreading fascinating Japanese anime to the globe. It’s an honor and privilege to be with the creators, innovators and the fans of anime to celebrate.”
