“The Swan Princess: Royally Undercover” Coming to DVD on 28th March 2017!
The Swan Princess franchise is back with an all-new feature length movie. The Swan Princess: Royally Undercover DVD will be available on 28th March, 2017, from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
The Swan Princess: Royally Undercover is the seventh installment in the animated film series. The plot involves young Princess Alise uncovering a royal mystery with the help of her friends and cool spy gadgets.
Here’s the official synopsis:
After mysterious visitors arrive in the Kingdom, Princess Alise, Lucas and their friends go undercover on a secret spy adventure to see if they can be trusted. They will need all of their superior detective skills as well as some super cool gadgets to solve the royal mystery and save the Kingdom.
The Swan Princess: Royally Undercover DVD extra includes the “In the Recording Studio with Macy Kate” featurette. Fans can enjoy seeing The X Factor star Macy Kate in the studio as she records the film’s theme song “Born to Be Me.”
The upcoming animated film has a run time of approximately 79 minutes. It is rated G.

Richard Rich directed the film. Richard Rich and Brian Nissen wrote the story. Brian Nissen wrote the screenplay. The film was produced by Richard Rich, Seldon O. Young, and Jared F. Brown, with Seldon O. Young, serving as executive producer.
The franchise started back in 1994 with The Swan Princess. It was followed by two traditional 2D hand-drawn animated sequels. The fourth movie, The Swan Princess Christmas was the first 3D CG animated film in the franchise. It was released in 2012. Princess Alise made her debut in the fifth film titled The Swan Princess: A Royal Family Tale. The young girl was adopted by Odette and Derek.
