The highly-popular RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise is ready to give the world more drag-tastic content come February 28, 2020. The latest trailer has revealed the 13 queens who will be competing for the crown!

With RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 1 recently finishing in November 2019, I know there are some people who think the brand is becoming too saturated. Heck! Even I feel the series should give us a longer break between seasons. But you know what? As soon as a season concludes, just after a week, I find myself wanting more!

RuPaul seems to have found an addictive TV formula and I remain hooked!

With each new generation of queens, the RuPaul’s Drag Race revolution continues to drive culture,” said RuPaul in an official statement. “And as more and more new viewers discover the show, the phenomenon continues to open hearts and minds with love, laughter and a whole lotta sass.”

Feed me, Ru! Feed me!

The 13 competing queens include Aiden Zhane, Brita, Crystal Methyd, Dahlia Sin, Gigi Goode, Heidi N Closet, Jackie Cox, Jaida Essence Hall, Jan, Nicky Doll, Rock M. Sakura, Sherry Pie, and Widow Von’Du.

Here’s the trailer!

Here are the queens working the runway!

I don’t know if it’s because 2020 is considered to be an important year as far as elections in the USA are concerned, but the overall feel of the promotional content does feature a patriotic vibe.

I mean, whatever it takes to get people to become more politically active, right?

Considering what the LGBTQIA+ community continues to face, it’s as good a time as any to rally together and vote for the rights you want!

I covered RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 1 over on The Geekiary’s YouTube channel. Of course, I plan to do the same for the upcoming season. So, if you want to see me reacting to the looks the queens will be bringing to the runway, you should subscribe.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 12 will premiere Friday, February 28, 2020, at 8/7c on VH1. It will be followed by a new season of Untucked at 9:30/8:30c.
