“Henry Mosse & the Wormhole Conspiracy” Coming to Steam This Feb!
Australian developer Bad Goat Studios has announced its new retro sci-fi adventure title Henry Mosse & the Wormhole Conspiracy will be available on PC via Steam. The current release date is February 4, 2021.
Henry Mosse & and the Wormhole Conspiracy will take plays through an interplanetary coming-of-age story focusing on our lead Henry Mosse. He’s described as a “goofball teenager.” Henry’s family will also play a role because they run a galactic delivery business. Henry and his family decide to go to Cape Coocoo and, along the way, get involved in a cosmic conspiracy.
When he’s not studying cosmic meta-algebra, teen earthling Henry Mosse helps his mother Seren operate Mosse Family Supplies – galactic delivery is much more fun than dividing the cubic-space of infinity by one solar parsec! Yet still, Henry longs to break free of his domestic life and seek fame amongst the mysterious Far Star Galaxy!
The upcoming title will offer comic-like cartoon visuals with a lot of comedic adventure suitable for players of all ages. There’s also an interactive score that “progressively reacts to a player’s journey.”
Henry Mosse & the Wormhole Conspiracy also features diversity and representation. Yay!
The point-and-click gameplay includes challenging puzzles and quick-thinking action.
Here’s the trailer!
Judging from the trailer, the entire thing does look like an interactive comic book. I’m here for it!
The Key Features are:
- In-depth puzzles that cater to different styles of play.
- An interactive score for players to progress with enthralling sounds.
- An array of useful gadgets and equipment to help navigate the game and its puzzles.
- A universe to explore with more than 40 gorgeous environments and 40 characters to meet along the way.
- Beautifully directed cutscenes that will captivate players.
You will be able to purchase Henry Mosse & the Wormhole Conspiracy from Steam for $19.99 USD and $28.95 AUD. Take note; the launch will offer a 15% Steam discount for its first seven days. So, keep an eye out for the February 4, 2021, release date!
As for Bad Goat Studios, it is an international team of independent artists from across the Asia-Pacific, bringing cross-cultural influence to create, what they call, the Mosse Universe – a retro-futurist fantasy colored by comedic whimsey. Here’s to hoping the upcoming title is a success for the indie studio and players get more installments in the franchise.
