Marvel Comics Announces SDCC 2023 Panels, Giveaways and More!
While, unfortunately, the MCU won’t be a presence at the fast-approaching SDCC 2023, fans can still look forward to Marvel Comics bringing panels, merchandise, giveaways, and more!
Marvel Comics will be located at booth #2329 for the live-stream broadcast, signings, giveaways, and more. The convention-exclusive merchandise can be bought via The Official Marvel Store (booth #2519).
Ryan Penagos, Langston Belton, Ray Lowe, and Justin Warner will host the live broadcasts.

Designing the X-Men: A This Week in Marvel Special Event
4:00 – 5:00 PM PT in Room 7AB
This live edition of the ‘This Week in Marvel’ podcast will be hosted by Ryan Penagos (VP & Creative Executive). Joining the panel will be Jordan D. White (Senior Editor), Sarah Brunstad (Editor), Tom Muller (Graphic Designer), artist Joshua Cassara (X-Force, X-Men), and more.
Fans will be provided information about logos, new costumes, Krakoan topography, and hints about the upcoming Fall of X era.
There will also be a massive giveaway at the end of the panel.
Marvel and Proko Teach “The Art of Storytelling”

Marvel and Proko will help attendees learn the art of comic book storytelling as industry veterans take them through the process of coming up with compelling stories, developing characters, and polishing visuals.

Marvel: Heroes, Hulks, and Super-Soldiers

Led by Marvel Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski, this panel will cover J. Michael Straczynski taking Captain America to the streets of Manhattan, while Moon Knight roams the roads of Egyptian lore in David Pepose’s Moon Knight: City of the Dead. And fans can see the Hulk taking control of Bruce Banner in Phillip Kennedy Johnson’s new Hulk run.
More information will be shared about what other heroes will join their ranks in their own new titles!

4:15 – 5:15 PM PT in Room 6DE
C.B. Cebulski will be joined by Joe Quesada to share their mastery of comic book creation with fans.

Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game Live Play with Glass Cannon Network
5:30 – 8:30 PM PT in Room – Omni Hotel, Omni Grand Ballroom ABC 4th Floor
Join Gamemaster Troy Lavallee along with Joe O’Brien, Skid Maher, Matthew Capodicasa, Noura Ibrahim, Alicia Marie, and Nick Lowe (VP, Marvel Executive Editor) as they create a Super Hero story that makes the Avengers look like a knitting club.
