“Justice League: Warworld”, “Babylon 5: The Road Home” and More Coming to SDCC 2023!

Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment will be present at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con 2023 with four panels showcasing some exciting original animated films. Fans will be able to enjoy DC’s Justice League: Warworld, Babylon 5: The Road Home, The Venture Bros: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart, and Metalocalypse: Army of the Doomstar.

The Venture Bros: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart animated movie will have its World Premiere come Thursday, June 20, 2023, at 8:30 PM in Room 6BCF.

After the screening, fans will be able to attend a discussion panel and audience Q&A featuring filmmakers Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer along with the key cast.

The premise of the movie involves drama involving Doc’s latest invention possibly bankrupting Team Venture or launching them to new heights. Hank will be seen searching for himself while Dean searches for Hank. The Monarch searches for answers, and a mysterious woman from their past will pose a significant threat.

From Adult Swim, Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment, and Titmouse, The Venture Bros.: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart will be available to purchase Digitally come July 22, 2023, and on Blu-ray come July 25, 2023.

The animated movie brings back the voice talents of James Urbaniak (The Fabelmans) as Dr. Venture, Patrick Warburton (Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events) as Brock Samson, Michael Sinterniklaas (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) as Dean Venture, Chris McCulloch (Superjail!) as Hank Venture and Doc Hammer (The Venture Bros.) as Dr. Mrs. The Monarch.

DC’s Justice League: Warworld will have its World Premiere on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 9:00 PM in Ballroom 20.

A panel discussion and audience Q&A will follow with the filmmakers and cast.

The premise of the movie involves the trio being swept way to Warworld with no memory of how they got there or their past. The iconic heroes will need to find a way to come together and figure out what’s actually happening.

The cast includes Jensen Ackles as the voice of Batman and Officer Wayne, Darren Criss as Superman and Agent Kent, while Stana Katic voices Wonder Woman and Diana Prince.

The Metalocalypse: Army of the Doomstar panel will take be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the Indigo Ballroom.

The panel will feature series co-creator Brendon Small and guests as they talk about Metalocalypse, preview some clips from the upcoming R-rated film, and discuss the forthcoming album ‘Dethalbum IV’.

The story picks up after the heroic rescue of Toki Wartooth. Dethklok frontman Nathan Explosion finds himself in a professional and romantic flat-spin all while he is tasked with fulfilling the prophecy and confronting the ultimate songwriting challenge to save the planet.

The film stars Small, Tommy Blacha, Victor Brandt (Metalocalypse), Stephen “Thundercat” Bruner, King Diamond, Mark Hamill, Jon Hamm, Amy Lee, and more.

Talking about the fourth and final offering, Babylon 5: The Road Home will have its World Premiere on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 6:30 PM in Room 6BCF.

Celebrating its 30th Anniversary, series creator J. Michael Straczynski, along with returning original series actors Bruce Boxleitner, Claudia Christian, Tracy Scoggins, and Patricia Tallman, will host a panel discussion and audience Q&A about the all-new original movie in this beloved sci-fi saga.

The film will have fans traveling across the galaxy with John Sheridan as he unexpectedly finds himself transported through multiple timelines and alternate realities in a quest to find his way back home.
