Fans of the long-running Ben 10 animated series rejoice! Ben 10: The Complete Series is getting a DVD debut come May 13, 2025. It’s Hero Time!

From Warner Bros Discovery Home Entertainment, the upcoming DVD release of Cartoon Network’s Emmy award-winning animated series will include all episodes spanning the OG Ben 10 series and the follow-up sequels. I’m talking Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, and Ben 10: Omniverse, with the home release consisting of a whopping 227 episodes. Not only that but the two animated movies Secret of the Omnitrix and Destroy All Aliens will also be included. The approximate Runtime of the collection is 4340 minutes.

The premise of Ben 10 follows a young boy named Ben Tennyson (get it?) who happens upon the Omnitrix, a strange device that allows him to transform into a variety of alien beings. The original season had Ben and his cousin Gwen traveling the road with their Grandpa Max as they faced numerous threats, including those wanting the Omnitrix for nefarious reasons. The narrative does a good job of expanding Ben’s world, with Grandpa Max shown to know a lot more about aliens than one might expect him to. Gwen also tapped into her magical potential as the series continued.

Ben 10 ran from December 2005 till April 2008. It was followed by Alien Force (April 2008 – March 2010), Ultimate Alien (April 2010 – March 2012), and Omniverse (August 2012 – November 2014).

A reboot of the OG series, also called Ben 10, ran from October 2016 – September 2020.

While I didn’t necessarily grow up watching the series, I definitely stuck with the entire run through my teens and beyond. It was nice to follow Ben’s adventures from when he was a kid to a teenager fighting aliens and protecting the universe. There was a lot of character development over the decades, with former enemy Kevin joining Ben and Gwen on the good side.

I can’t wait to relive all those memories while binge-watching the show through the upcoming DVD collection. Also, fingers crossed that the Ben 10 franchise continues with a new series that features a more grownup Ben who is now in his mid-20s.

Are you a Ben 10 fan? Are you excited about the complete series releasing on DVD?
