New ENHYPEN Webtoon Series Now Live!

K-Pop powerhouse ENHYPEN has returned to WEBTOON! As part of the company’s ongoing collaboration with HYBE, they have debuted the latest installment in ENHYPEN’s ongoing DARK MOON webcomic series. (That is a lot of caps!)

The newest addition to Dark Moon, Children of Vamfield by DARK MOON, is the prequel to Dark Moon: The Blood Altar, which debuted in 2022. The first three episodes of Children of Vamfield are now available exclusively on WEBTOON, with new episodes rolling out weekly on Sundays.

Dark Moon: The Blood Altar “inspired K-pop and comics fans around the world”, with almost 2 million subscribers and 56 million views. Dark Moon is a mix of urban fantasy and teen romance and chronicles “the confrontation, confusion and chemistry between a group of vampires, a pack of werewolves, and a mysterious girl with a secret”.

Welcome to Riverfield, where the most popular boys at two rival schools happen to be vampires and werewolves. When a mysterious new student, Sooha, transfers to Riverfield, the rivals find themselves inexplicably drawn to her. As horrible incidents start to shake the town, the boys’ forgotten pasts slowly start to unravel… and their world turns upside down.

Children of Vamfield is a prequel to that original story and follows seven vampires who were raised in secret under the care of Ms. Marge at the mysterious Vamfield House. After a century of growing up together, they are forced into the human world…without knowing the truth of what they are.

The characters and storyline are based off the group’s music videos, starting with “Drunk-Dazed”, which released in April 2021. “Drunk-Dazed” is from ENHYPEN’s second album, Border: Carnival.

For fans looking to catch up on the first title in the series, it is available to read in full on WEBTOON. Ize Press is also publishing an English print edition, the first volume of which was released in December 2023.
