“PATH Water” Promotes Eco-Friendly Hydration with a Geeky Style

PATH Water – Aluminum Water Bottles

PATH Water promotes eco-friendly hydration habits through geek-themed recyclable water bottles that cover numerous IPs.

I was provided with free PATH Water for review. The opinions I have shared are my own.

Given the choice, I’m the type of person who will always reach for a cup of cold water when thirsty instead of soda or other carbonated drinks out there. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the occasional sugary pop. But I’m definitely a plain water drinker for the most part. It’s also a reason why I keep a water bottle with me when going to work, grocery shopping, or visiting a friend. And yeah, by water bottle I mean an empty 500 mL plastic bottle of Coca-Cola (or some other drink. I don’t even remember) that I have been refilling with H20. So, when the marketing team reached out to see if I was interested in PATH Water, I said yes. I need the company’s geeky water bottles in my life.

The company’s mission is to inspire the world to “#refillit” and step away from single-use plastic bottles. They manufacture durable aluminum bottles to achieve their goal. According to the website, 70% of the material used in aluminum cans is recycled into new products, which is almost double that of glass (34%) and plastic (40%). It can also be recycled numerous times, unlike other materials.

A good way to help promote reusing bottles is to encourage people to keep using said bottles. And I think PATH Water has the right idea by releasing a line of geek-themed water bottles. The collaboration covers Spongebob Squarepants, Nerf, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, Power Rangers, Paw Patrol, My Little Pony, and so many more. I think you are sure to find an IP design that’s perfect for you or a loved one.

The four 500 mL bottles I received contained a Paw Patrol bottle featuring Chase and Skye, with the remaining three bottles styled after Spongebob, Patrick Star, and Squidward. And when I say styled after, I mean, full-on styled after a particular character instead of slapping a sticker on a bottle and calling it a day.

The bottles came nicely packaged in cardboard boxes. It was frankly one of the best packaging I have seen in a while.

Spotlighting the Spongebob bottle, the entire container is yellow with the iconic character’s face in the front. Bellow the face you get to see text about the water inside being purified and added electrolytes for taste. The back of the bottle has the company’s logo and more trademark information. The plastic cap is white and easy to twist open.

The BPA-free aluminum bottle is very durable. I tried smacking it a few times and even used both hands to squeeze it. Unlike my usual plastic water bottle, the PATH Water bottle didn’t cave. It’s meant to last. So, yay!

As for the 7-Step Filtration System bottled water, I could register that it was different enough from the usual tap water I consume. But then again, I could be biased as heck because sipping cold water from the PATH bottle just hit me differently after a long day during Ramadan.

With me using just one bottle for daily use, the three Spongebob Squarepants-themed bottles can work as visually pleasing deco on my collectibles shelf. The yellow, pink, and green work well together.

Take note; these bottles are designed for cold liquids and aren’t microwavable.

You can go ahead and learn more about PATH Water by visiting the official website. Take a look and see if there’s any bottle design that catches your fancy.
