“Scooby-Doo! And Krypto, Too!” Gets Digital and DVD Release This September!

Fans of the Scooby-Doo franchise have a new animated movie to look forward to. The upcoming crossover feature film is called Scooby-Doo! and Krypto, Too! and it will be available to purchase Digitally and on DVD in the US come September 26, 2023.

Take note; while the Digital version can be purchased from digital retailers, the DVD version of Scooby-Doo! and Krypto, Too! will be a Walmart exclusive in the US.

As for Canada, fans can purchase Scooby-Doo! and Krypto, Too! on Digital on September 26, 2023. However, the DVD release will be made available on October 24, 2023.

The Digital purchase will cost you $14.99 SRP. And you can own the DVD for $19.98 SRP US ($24.98 Canada).

The film has an approximate runtime of 78 minutes.

Talking about the premise, as the same states, this movie will be a crossover event between the Scooby-Doo franchise and DC Comics. The plot involves DC’s Justice League mysteriously vanishing and a terrifying phantom taking up residence in The Hall of Justice. Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Vilma, and Daphne will need to crack the case with help from Krypto the Superdog.

I wasn’t expecting Lex Luther to be accompanying the Mystery Inc Gang but I’m here for it. Also, judging by the trailer, it looks like Lois Lane called Scooby and the rest to come save Metropolis from a bunch of villains. I wonder if the villains are actually real and whether or not they are being mind controlled.

Having looked at the DVD cover, I wouldn’t be surprised if Brainiac is behind the disappearance of The Justice League.

Returning as the voices of the Scooby gang are Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo and Fred Jones, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers, Kate Micucci as Velma Dinkley, and Grey Delisle as Daphne Blake as well as Wonder Woman.

Also featured in the voice cast are P.J. Byrne as J.B., Victoria Grace as Mercy, Charles Halford as Lex Luthor, Nolan North as the Joker and Superman, Tara Strong as Helen, Lois Lane and Harley Quinn, Fred Tatasciore as Solomon Grundy and Perry White, James Arnold Taylor as Jimmy Olsen and Rex Ruthor and Niccole Thurman as Mayor Fleming.

The film has been directed by Cecilia Aranovich Hamilton from a script by T.K. O’Brian. The Producers are Rick Morales and Jim Krieg. With Sam Register serving as an Executive Producer.

The Special features include three bonus Scooby-Doo episodes:
