SDCC 2025 Exclusive “Beyblade X 25th Anniversary Set” Revealed by Hasbro!

Hasbro has announced a treat for new and long-time Beyblade fans. The Beyblade X 25th Anniversary Set will make an exclusive debut at San Diego Comic-Con (July 24, 2025 – July 27, 2025). Let it rip!

As a fan of the Beyblade franchise, I like how Hasbro decided to celebrate the 25th Anniversary. The upcoming release brings back iconic Beys from the past anime series, along with a Bey from the currently airing Beyblade X anime. Not only that, but the older Beys have been upgraded to ensure fans can enjoy them while using the new X-Celerator Gear System.

I get that some fans might not be excited about said change, but I’m here for the older tops being modified to be played with the new mechanism that uses the rail in the Beyblade X-inspired Beystadiums. Also, let’s be real, it’s not like the OG characters wouldn’t have upgraded their favorite Beys if they were dropped into the world of Beyblade X. The Beyblade franchise has always been about making upgrades in the fictional narratives as well as encouraging players to do so in real life.

The four tops included in the set are the Dragoon Storm 4-60RA left-spin Top, Storm Pegasis 3-70RA right-spin Top, Victory Valkyrie 2-60RA right-spin Top, and the Dran Sword 3-60F Attack Type right-spin Top.

The exclusive Beyblade X 25th Anniversary Set can be purchased during San Diego Comic-Con at the Hasbro Booth #3213. Take note; limited quantities will be made available at most major retailers after the convention. 

The retail price is $79.99. It’s a good price considering it’s an exclusive product as well as what regular tops currently cost. The set also includes an autographed picture.

Seeing the older tops brings back memories. The OG Beyblade anime (2001-2003) with Tyson, Kai, and the rest was a big part of my childhood.

I’m enjoying the resurgence in popularity of the Beyblade IP. The Beyblade X anime debuted back in 2023 and is ongoing, having aired more than 80 episodes. The OST is so good!

There’s also the Beyblade X World Championship 2025!

For those heading to Anime Expo in Los Angeles this year, a special event is being held at Booth E-25 on July 5, 2025, starting at 10AM PST. Open to ages 13 and older, registration will start at 9AM PST. Take note that only the first 128 participants to arrive will be able to compete.

While a limited number of tops will be available to borrow on-site, it’s recommended you bring along three of your own Hasbro Beyblade X tops for the competition. The final 8 participants will battle with three different tops in the Beyblade X Xtreme Battle Set Baystadium to be named National Champion.

The winner will earn a spot in the Beyblade X World Championship that will be held at Tokyo Tower come Saturday, October 11, 2025, and Sunday, October 12, 2025.

Any fan who qualifies for the final tournament will receive a fully paid trip to Tokyo to compete.
