The Ninth and Final Season of “The Flash” Gets Blu-ray and DVD Release This August!

From WBHE, fans will be able to collect The Flash: The Ninth and Final Season on Blu-ray and DVD come August 29, 2023.

The upcoming physical release of the show’s final season will include all 13 episodes along with new extra content. Take note; the final season of The Flash is available for purchase on Digital.

Not only that, but fans can also look forward to owning The Flash: The Complete Series on Blu-ray and DVD on August 29, 2023, too. This collection includes a whopping 184 episodes and hours of extra content (previously released) for fans to enjoy.

The description for the ninth season reads:

After defeating the Reverse Flash once and for all, the ninth season of The Flash picks up one week after their epic battle, and Barry Allen aka The Flash and Iris West-Allen are reconnecting and growing closer than ever. When a deadly group of Rogues descend on Central City, led by a powerful and unknown new threat, The Flash and his team including Meta-Empath Cecile Horton, the light-powered meta, Allegra Garcia, brilliant tech-nerd Chester P. Runk and reformed cryogenics thief Mark Blaine, must once again defy the odds to save the day. But as The Rogues are defeated, a deadly new adversary rises to challenge Barry Allen’s heroic legacy. In their greatest battle yet, Barry and Team Flash will be pushed to their limits, to save Central City one last time.

The show stars Grant Gustin as the titular character, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Danielle Nicolet, Kayla Compton, Brandon McKnight, and Jon Cor.

Based on the characters from DC, The Flash is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, with the executive producers being Greg Berlanti, Eric Wallace, Sarah Schechter, Jonathan Butler, and Sam Chalsen.

As for The Flash: The Complete Series Collection, the Blu-ray will cost you $179.99 SRP US ($179.99 in Canada) and the DVD can be yours for $134.99 SRP US ($149.99 in Canada).

The video presentation is in 16×9 widescreen format. And the approximate run time is 135 hours!

The final season of The Flash debuted on February 8, 2023, with the finale airing on May 24, 2023.

And even though the fandom has been quite vocal about the decrease in quality storytelling over the years, seeing such an iconic superhero TV show end is indeed sad.
