The Bitching Dead Issue 14: The Walking Dead 9×9, 9×10 & More!
The mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead Season 9 (titled ‘Adaptation’) debuted this month. So, of course, Tara, Bekah, and I had to come back with our The Bitching Dead webcast. Join us as we cover episodes 9 and 10 of The Walking Dead Season 9 as well as some interesting news regarding the franchise.
We have no idea when The Walking Dead TV series will end. Even though the ratings have dropped, it is still one of the most-watched series in the US. Furthermore, the network is planning movies focused on Rick Grimes along with a number of spin-offs for certain characters.
We talked about that and more in The Bitching Dead Issue 14. Check it out!
Here are some of the highlights:
- While we didn’t hate ‘Adaptation,’ it wasn’t as bad as some of the other episodes in season 9.
- I have no idea why Negan is still around.
- Judith doesn’t come across as a realistic fictional character especially because she grew up in a comparatively peaceful community.
- I can’t get over how the show asked actor Tom Payne to appear in ‘Adaptation’ and film a whole lot of scenes playing a dead body.
- Who did the three dogs belong to?
- Are we supposed to care about Henry?
- Luke and Alden following a trail of arrows made no sense.
- Do you think the writers are regretting killing Carl?
- Rosita is pregnant because everyone needs to have kids for the future. Sigh!
- Carol’s wig does her no favors.
- We all liked seeing Daryl take a more active role in the story. The way he used Henry to get closer to Lydia made sense.
- Getting to know about Alpha’s backstory in ‘Omega’ was enjoyable. I’m a big fan of the actress because of Harlots.
- Alpha comes across as far more ruthless than Negan.
- Tara and Bekah are going to be very busy working on Ice & Fire Con.
- I published a course about Project Management.
Are you still enjoying watching The Walking Dead season 9? What did you think of ‘Adaptation’ and ‘Omega’? Let us know.
