1. Lmaooooooo you utter liar. You were “looking forward” to this? Sure you were, that’s why you raked Posey over the coals for taking on a queer role and then immediately forgave DOB for doing the same thing. You wanted this queer-positive show to crash and burn because of your grudge against a POC kid who’s just trying his best. Well, congrats. You got your wish. Now the show has tanked, which means we can forget about this kind of stuff ever happening on any other network. I hope you like more boring heteronormativity. Fandom is its own worst enemy.

   2. The show crashing and burning had nothing to do with Farid. Criticism of a show doesn’t bring down the show but I think the noise actually helps it. If you look at the movie Captain Marvel the negative ranting by fanboys on You Tube did not effect it’s success but actually helped promote it. Personally I would not watch this show. Tyler Posey being cast was a big reason but there were many other reasons. I took a look at the trailer and decided that I cannot relate to characters or the overall look and feel of the show. So the reason the show failed was because people weren’t interested and didn’t like the show.

   3. 1) Now Apocalypse is the literal opposite of queer-positive (“consent is for pussies”, really? That’s just plain disgusting and problematic);
      2) Tyler Posey only makes a small cameo in it, so I really doubt Posey’s brief 5 minutes on-screen appearance is the reason the show tanked;
      3) Dylan O’Brien never talked about his sexuality publicly, nor he ever felt the need to put a label on his sexuality, unlike openly heterosexual man Tyler Posey, who explicitly stated that he identifies as straight more than once, and who claims that actual LGBTQ+ people should be inspired by the fact that he is so comfortable in his heterosexuality that he is willing to “put my tongue down another dude’s throat” in a brief 5 minutes cameo on someone else’s show (and no, there wasn’t any tongue, by the way, it was just a close-mouthed kiss);
      4) There’s nothing wrong with straight actors taking queer roles (or the other way around), of course, but Tyler Posey has a long history of recidive homophobic slurs and behaviour behind him, and he literally admitted that he took a gay role *his glorified cameo in Now Apocalypse* just because he and his girlfriend thought that it would have brought him attention, so people are perfectly entitled to comment on that;

      Now Apocalypse crashed and burned because it was literal TRASH. The acting was objectively atrocious (except for Beau Mirchoff, Kelli Berglund, Roxane Mesquida and RJ Mitte’s, who are the only ones who can act out of the whole cast and deserved WAY better than a crappy, problematic rape-positive parody of a TV show about harmful lgbtq+ caricatures and stereotypes), and the plot non-existent. I think it’s hilarious that rabid Scott/Posey stan user Jeff tried to blame Now Apocalypse being the network’s lowest-rated show for season 2018/2019 on non Scott/Posey fans just because they didn’t suppport Tyler Posey’s 5 minutes of screentime in a poorly written (and acted) 10 episodes show tbh. If Scott/Posey stans didn’t want the show to tank as hard as it did then maybe they should have watched the show and supported their fave’s background cameo instead of screeching and whining and frothing at the mouth in the comments section of an article written by a POC. *shrugs*

   4. @Jeff : Have you seen the show in which DOB plays a ‘queer’ character? Because given what the plot is, it makes perfect sense for a straight guy to play it, given that the role is technically a straight guy.
